Troubleshooting Motorized Shades
Help! My motorized shade is not working!
Not to worry, follow our simple troubleshooting methods below.
- Check your Shade Batteries
Dead batteries is the most common problem for motorized shades. Check out our how-to video on how to replace batteries in your shade.
What you’ll need:
- A Stepladder
- (12) AA Batteries
2. Check your Remote Batteries
If your remote refuses to operate your shade and “blinks” back to Channel 1 continuously, it’s likely your remote batteries need to be replaced.
What you’ll need:
- (2) CR2032 Batteries
3. Pair your remote again
If your shade operates correctly using the manual control button on the shade, you may have lost connection with your Powerview Pebble remote.
What you’ll need:
- A Stepladder
- Your Pebble Remote
