This strategic acquisition marks an exciting milestone in our growth and further solidifies our commitment to serving customers throughout Charlotte and the surrounding regions, including upstate South Carolina.
We are delighted to welcome the exceptional team from Diana’s Blinds & Designs into the A Shade Above family. Diana Weimer, the highly respected owner of Diana’s Blinds & Designs for the past 39 years, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Joining her are Bruce Elbertson, a Hunter Douglas certified Master Installer; Heather Tollison, a long-time administrator and Diana’s daughter; and Amy Hancock, a dedicated Showroom and Sales Specialist. Collectively, this impressive team brings an astounding 112 years of combined expertise in Hunter Douglas products, repairs, and customer service.
While day-to-day operations will remain the same, the business will transition to the new name “Diana’s Blinds by A Shade Above.” Our focus will be on seamlessly integrating their team into our established sales and service systems. We are better together!
Diana’s Blinds By A Shade Above will continue to operate the Charlotte Area’s only Hunter Douglas Authorized Service Center (ASC) from their existing Fort Mill facility, providing expert service to both Hunter Douglas clients and dealers.
A Shade Above now operates fourth showrooms across North and South Carolina, proudly serving the Charlotte area as the region’s largest Hunter Douglas dealer. This acquisition further expands our reach and solidifies our position as a leader in the industry.
