Todd is our Operations Manager, and oversees day to day processes of our installation and customer service team. Todd has more than a decade of experience in the window treatment industry, previously owning his own blind & shade company. Todd is a smiling face that is always willing to assist any customer with the utmost dedication and enthusiasm. Todd enjoys hearing from each customer about how happy they are with their finished product and the five star service they’ve received.

Angela's dedication to A Shade Above spans over a decade. She was a member of the original Design Consulting team at the former South End location. Angela has collaborated with numerous Charlotte homeowners and top interior designers. Her portfolio includes coordinating projects for local NFL and NBA team members and coaches, as well as a home featured in Architectural Digest. Angela's current role involves leading training and support for our team of Design Consultants, ensuring that each client enjoys a five-star experience from start to finish.

Brandy joined A Shade Above in 2018 at the Providence Promenade location. She brings a wealth of product knowledge and takes pleasure in helping clients transform their living spaces with the perfect shade solutions. Brandy is a Certified Home Stager and Organization Specialist, guaranteeing that clients find the ideal products to enhance their home's beauty. Among her favorites are Plantation Shutters for their functionality, flexibility, endurance, and aesthetics.

Lynda Del Missier boasts over 20 years of design experience, and comes to A Shade Above from a large luxury furnishings retailer. Armed with multiple art degrees, Lynda combines her passion for design and color theory to bring rooms to life. Her appreciation for the impact of color, pattern, and detail, learned during her art school days, guides her in assisting clients confidently with luxury brands and interior design. Lynda embraces new challenges and keeps pace with design trends to better serve her clients.

As a member of our high performance installation and service team, Dustin understands the importance of collaboration and teamwork to ensure a great customer experience. His management background and ability to work in high pressure situations enables him to efficiently and enthusiastically provide our clients the best in customer service. He takes pride in being part of a team that goes above and beyond to make sure our clients are happy.

Alan is a longstanding member of the A Shade Above Team. Since 2006, Alan has installed plantation shutters, shades & blinds in some of the finest neighborhoods in Charlotte. Since joining our team more than a decade ago, Alan has become our lead installer and has received hundreds of five star reviews from satisfied customers. He is well versed in the installation of our full product line up and capable of handling the most complex residential and commercial projects.

Bandi's responsibilities include overseeing employee stress relief through expertly executed belly rubs, maintaining peak morale with her tail-wagging enthusiasm, and conducting surprise "barkitectural" inspections of the office for optimal treat storage.

Iyla is our resident Houdini-in-training, renowned for transforming ordinary office supplies into abstract art and exploring the uncharted territories of every nook and cranny. With a boundless curiosity and an insatiable appetite for adventure (or at least office furniture), Iyla keeps us on our toes as we strive to puppy-proof the premises.
