The sheer fabric backing of Pirouette® Shades showcases the beautiful views, while providing protection from damaging UV rays. The sheer fabrics area available in two versions: Traditional and ClearView®. The traditional sheers offer a diffused view of the landscape. ClearView® offers a sharpened, crisp view of the outdoors to enhance the indoor/outdoor experience with the introduction of black sheer fabrics.

The Multiple Positions of Pirouette® Shades

The Pirouette® Shades collection is one of our most versatile options in Hunter Douglas window treatments. With the shades down, in the closed position, you can enjoy control of the light and privacy in your home. While lowered in place, vanes can fold in place to bring in softened light and outdoor views. Pirouette® Shades will roll up into the headrail, stopping at any point along the way for partial coverage. When fully rolled into the headrail, they offer an unobstructed view.  The latest innovation offers a dual shade system, called A Deux™. This introduces a secondary blackout roller shade that is lowered in place for serious light control and energy efficiency.

Silhouette® Shades are composed of solid vanes, floating in place between two sheer fabric panels. The solid vanes can tilt to show off landscape views, or close up for light filtering with levels of privacy.

Pirouette® Shades are composed of solid fabric vanes attached to a sheer fabric back panel. When closed for light control and privacy, the vanes are flattened. When opened, the vanes fold in place, revealing the sheer fabrics.
