What began in 1993 as a small shutter manufacturing business has grown into Charlotte’s largest custom window fashions company.
For nearly three decades, A Shade Above has been providing Charlotte and surrounding areas with the highest quality blinds, shades and plantation shutters. As a family owned business, we have ensured that promise has remained steadfast through the years.
Through economic downturn and unprecedented recovery, we stand with multiple showroom locations throughout the Carolinas and a mobile fleet of A Shade Above vehicles outfitting thousands of local homes with custom window treatments.
